Norman H. Smith, 81, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away Thursday, May 5 at the Veterans Hospital. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Brooks Funeral Care, 7975 University Blvd. in Clive. His graveside committal service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Joyce; brother, Carl (Helen) Smith of Colfax, Iowa; Jean Fountain of Lillian, Alabama; multiple nieces and nephews. He was an avid Hawkeye fan and loved by all. He will be greatly missed.
