Linda Sue Gordon, age 64, was born on November 25, 1959, in Des Moines, IA and she passed away on June 24, 2024, at Pines Acres Facility.
Linda graduated from Lincoln High School. She loved westerns, Young and restless, Yellowstone, and Paul Revere's. Linda loved having her family close to her. She loved to watch the buffalo, loved spoiling her kids and grandkids and most of all she loved her family dinners.
Linda is survived by son, Michael (Caprice) Buford; daughter, Stormy; significant other, Joseph; her grandchildren, Emanuel, Shawntae, J-Nesha, Davion Ceon Mii'Kel, Michael Jr, Jaren TaJionna God Jakai, Lil Stormy, Lil Michael, Zyaire, Savannah, and Miracle; and two great-grandchildren, Kaliah and Jai'Aire.
Linda is preceded in rest by her mother and father, Donnella and Floyd Gordon, and grandson, Markel Buford.
Funeral service is scheduled on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 11:00 am at Merle Hay Chapel, 4400 Merle Hay Rd, Des Moines, IA 50310 with visitation one hour prior.
