Elizabeth Ann, the daughter of Frank and Laura (Egan) Eggleston, was born July 27, 1920. She attended school in Patterson. Betty had a lengthy career as a sales clerk at Younkers at Valley West Mall. She was a talented seamstress, excellent cook, and wonderful mother.
Betty passed away on January 1, 2022 at the age of 101. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmie; and three sisters.
Betty is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Suzanne Reimann Klaas (Leo); two nieces, Annette Clark and Mary (Paul) Clark; and a nephew, Brian (Marilyn) Lange.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, at Brooks Funeral Care in Clive. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home with burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery near Cumming.
