Diane Dea (Pepper) Ackerson Forest passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 2, 2024, surrounded by love and family.
Diane was born in Boise, Idaho on January 24, 1948, to Kenneth Earl Pepper and Doris Arleene (Roath) Pepper. Diane spent her childhood years growing up in Saint Anthony, Iowa with her sister Jan and two brothers Tim and Terry. Then her young adult years in Marshalltown, before moving and residing in Des Moines. Diane then spent her days raising her babies and being a mother. Later in life she joined the Younkers Department store team and became a Merchandise Manager and enjoyed her days collaborating with her team, which she so very much loved, and they gave her so much joy for 18 years before retiring. She loved spending time planting flowers and decorating with fairies and making her yards beautiful with them as well as fishing, crafting, shopping, going to garage sales to find unique treasures and spending time with the greatest joys of her life her seven grand babies Mic, Kenny, Kyle, Alaina, Hannah, Chloe, Hunter , four great- grand babies, Rylie, Stryker, Jack, Kaplan and her four daughters Stephanie, Amy (husband Greg), Sennie, Shelly (husband Cory) and family.
She will forever be her family’s greatest gift with all the love and support and wonderful memories she has given us that will always be cherished and never forgotten ❤️.
A celebration of life to honor Diane will be held at a later date. And all will be welcomed to join.
