Christopher “Chris” Wade, 20 of Des Moines, Iowa passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.
Christopher James Wade was born on March 19, 2000 in Lawton, Oklahoma; he was the son of Scott Wade and Heather Goodsell. He attended high school in the Lawton, Oklahoma. He was working at Wendy’s restaurant in Des Moines. He enjoyed YouTube, always enjoyed working on cars, hanging with friends, and will be remembered as a loving carefree person.
Left to cherish his memory is his fiancé, Nisha Cameron of Des Moines, Iowa, mother, Heather (Corey Rice) Rohr, of Des Moines, Iowa, father, Scott Wade of Oklahoma, siblings, Nicole (Carlos) Gonzalez of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Rachel Wade, Lisa Wade, Gage (Ariel) Wade, and Scotty Wade all of Oklahoma, Marleigh Rohr of Kansas and Ricky Enos of Pleasant Hill and nieces, Vanessa and Olivia, grandparents, Richard and Chiquita Goodsell of Kansas and Edith Marie Wade of Oklahoma.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Merle Hay Funeral Home, 4400 Merle Hay Road, Des Moines, Iowa 50310. Funeral Service will begin a 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Mask and social distancing will be mandatory for anyone attending.
Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date.
