In loving memory of Cathy Jane Smith, born in Des Moines, Iowa on December 23, 1948.
Cathy passed away on February 24, 2024, at Kavanaugh Hospice House after her battle with lung cancer.
Cathy is survived by her sister Julie Cain, her two children: Tami Crooks (Jason) and Rodney Smith (Latoya)., and her grandchildren: Jacob, Jamie, Christian, Marisa and Xavier, her great grandchildren: Alihandra, Cobie, Eli, Antonio, Angelina, Alexander, Arielle and Angel, and her great-great granddaughter Amoure Kay.
A Memorial service will be Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Merle Hay Chapel, 4400 Merle Hay Road, Des Moines, IA 50310.
