Antonina Robles Piedra, 94 años, fallecio el Domingo 4 de Septiembre de 2022 en casa al lado de sus hijos. Antonina nacio el 2 de Septiembre de 1928 en La Joya, Zacatecas, Valparaiso. Su infancia y juventud la paso en su cuidad natal, La Joya, al lado de sus padres Faustino Robles y Maria Robles Piedra.
Se caso con Rufino Robles Guzman y tuvo 10 hijos y vivieron su vida en Guadalajara Jalisco. Ella enviudo a temprana edad, fue una madre fuerte, luchadora, y muy amorosa, se dedico a vender tejidos y vender sus ricas enchiladas, para sacar a sus hijos adelante.
Fue muy querida y conosida como Doña Toña. Siempre agradable y elegante, y sus uñas ni se diga! siempre bien pintaditas.
su pasa tiempo favorito fue tejer y tambien le encantaba rascar sus tickets de loteria, eso siempre la hacia sonreir. Su tequila favorito era El Jerez que nunca le faltaba en las mañanas. Le gustaba mucho las fiestas familiares y cualquier otra fiesta social y para celebrar ella se tomaba su traguito de tequila, y claro siempre se lo tomaba con elegancia.
Falleció en paz en su casa rodeada de sus hijos, nueras y nietos. Fue una mujer admirable y dejó un gran legado a sus hijos, nietos, bisnietos y tataranietos. Ella vivirá en nuestros corazones para siempre. Siempre sera nuestra Reyna.
Antonina Robles Piedra, 94 years old, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at home next to her children. Antonina was born on September 2, 1928, in La Joya, Zacatecas, Valparaiso. Her childhood and youth were spent in her hometown, La Joya, next to her parents Faustino Robles and Maria Robles Piedra. She married Rufino Robles Guzman and had 10 children and they lived their lives in Guadalajara Jalisco. She was widowed at an early age, she was a strong, fighter, and very loving mother, she dedicated herself to selling fabrics and selling her delicious enchiladas, to get her children ahead. She was very loved and known as Doña Toña. Always nice and elegant, and her nails not to mention! always well painted. Her favorite hobby was knitting, and she also loved scratching her lottery tickets, that always made her smile. Her favorite tequila was El Jerez, which was never lacking in the mornings. She really liked family parties and any other social parties, and to celebrate she would have her shot of tequila, and of course she always had it with elegance.
She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her sons, daughters, daughters-in-laws and grandchildren. She was an admirable woman and left a great legacy to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She will live in our hearts forever. She will always be our queen.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2022, at Brooks Funeral Care, 7975 University Blvd, Clive, IA 50325. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 10, 2022, at West Des Moines United Methodist Church, 720 Grand Ave., West Des Moines, IA. Interment will follow immediately at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 4400 Merle Hay Funeral Home, Des Moines, IA 50310.
